Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) Sept. 9 Founder’s Day Celebration

The ASALH Founders’ Day Centennial Celebration is hosted by ASALH branches including Prince Georges County Truth Branch (MD), Van McCoy Legacy Branch (MD), C. Delores Tucker Branch (DC), Carter G. Woodson Branch (DC), Bethel Dukes Branch (DC) in collaboration with ASALH Headquarters, and is also co-sponsored by the National Park Service. The Centennial Founders’ Day Program will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 1510 9th Street, NW, Washington, D.C., from 4:00-6:00 p.m. We are expecting approximately 1,000 political and community leaders, corporate representatives, educators, and young people to attend.
