Happy Thanksgiving to You and Your Family

I pray that you have a wonderful and happy Thanksgiving today, full of fellowship, joy, and love.  As we cherish our families and reflect on all of God’s blessings, my spirit leads me to also reflect on our neighbors who are experiencing challenges this holiday season and are separated from their loved ones.  I think about our military families who have service members in harm’s way overseas.  I also think about our neighbors who are experiencing the sadness of their first Thanksgiving after the loss of a loved one.  May we keep these families in our thoughts and prayers and pray that they find comfort during this holiday season.  I am truly thankful for the opportunity granted by the residents of Prince George’s County to continue to fulfill my calling of public service.  I am thankful for the opportunity that we have to work together to build on our progress and rise further to overcome our challenges.  I am thankful that we will not rest until we have universal opportunity and prosperity for the residents of Prince George’s County.  Happy Thanksgiving!
